Salute to Monks from Pakokku

It was heartening to know that about 500 monks did Protest March at Pakokku on 5 August. See detail here. It was said that the army fired 10-15 warning shots over their head and then soldiers drag away the monks and beat up bystanders with bamboo sticks.
I remembered the TV footage of people power uprising in Philippine where soldiers joined hands with people against tyrant Marcos. Yet this kind of soldiers not come out in Burma.
May monks from Mandalay join the Protest March lead by well worshipped Sa Ya Daw.
